A Few Days = A Few Weeks
So it's taken me a little longer than I thought it would to get things sorted, but sorted they are! I have a legal car again, I have scribal projects in my future, and life is pretty good! ^__^ This time around I'm posting one of the favorites of the scrolls I did before I left the East, an Award of Arms scroll for a late-period Landsknecht gentleman who's into throwing weapons. It was my first go at a cadel, and my first go at a figure modeled after the woodcuts and drawings of Albrecht Durer. As always, click on the small image to get to a bigger image.

I'm pretty pleased with this one -- I had fun with the cadel and the line art (the target was my design entirely XD). I know I wrote down the exemplars that I used somewhere, but I can't find them. This was done on Arches paper in Higgins ink, gouache, and Finetec gold.
More scrolls soon, I promise! ^__^
